The Fluval G6 external filtration system contains media in basket and cartridge forms for easy accessibility and maintenance. The biological, chemical and mechanical devices provide extensive and efficient water cleansing to remove all particles and improve water chemistry, ensuring a healthier aquatic environment. A variety of cartridges are available to nullify specific chemicals or to mix and match with other media to establish a particular habitat.
The system comes complete with canister, pre-filter cartridge, carbon cartridge, G-node media, 9m of hose, intake tubing and strainer, connectors, directional output nozzles, and spray bars. The directional nozzles are adjustable to produce a strong water current for adequate circulation. The spray bars gently dispense filtered water back into the tank and increase O2 levels. The G6 assembles quickly and starts easily. In addition, the unit is portable and designed to be concealed beneath the fish tank, where it operates efficiently and quietly.
The Fluval G6 is designed for fresh or saltwater fish tanks ranging from 300-600 litres and is equipped with modern technological features.
- An LCD screen provides water history including temperature and programmable chemical parameters. An alert is displayed when parameters are insufficient or exceeded.
